We have hundreds of interactions with objects and our environment everyday. As users, consumers, and producers we react to and influence these relationships every time. This interaction between user, objects, materials, environments, and the systems which they live in, is what draws my focus and interest. In every project I try to balance material selection, sustainability, functionality, usability, and aesthetics; letting the needs of the problem define the order of their importance. Currently focusing on designing, developing, making, and testing my own cycling and backpacking gear… and of course, pursuing all things outdoors.
